'Winter Food Dehydrator...Wood Stove Style!'

'I use the free heat from my wood stove to make snacks for the kids. This little hanging dehydrator does a great job with low-moisture foods but I don\'t like to use it for fruit leather or jerky because the temperature doesn\'t get high enough and is inconsistent depending on if I am home to watch it. Don\'t put things over your wood stove if you have a choice, putting it to the side of the stove but still close enough to get hot air is a much better idea. At the end of the video I also show how I used to dehydrate more extensively when we lived in the \'big house\'. Enjoy!
