'In today\'s video I try Stan Efferding\'s Vertical Diet for one whole week. The diet has been floating around for several years now and lot of others have tried it including Derek from more plates more dates who tried it for an entire year. Stan claims the diet can increase performance, recovery, sleep and more. So of course wanting to do all those things I had to give it a try. I am currently trying to build muscle with minimal fat gain and this diet is know to keep people lean with easily digestible foods. Stan makes sure we hit our micronutrients as well with cranberry juice, oranges, eggs, spinach, sweet potatoes and more. My digestion has never been better and I really enjoyed the diet. I definitely say some improvements in my sleep and performance while actually losing almost a pound but eating more calories. In a sense the diet was kind of freeing because I wasn\'t making the decision of what to eat everyday like I normally do. It\'s restrictive eating, but that kind of made it easy in the short term.
