'Having watched Netflix Street Food series, I have love the way they craft the story behind all these hard working vendors. We often take food for granted, but often these comes from such an inspiring stories. While in Seoul South Korea we met up with our friend Aaron and Claire and taste everything from the Korea Netflix Series, from their Mungbean Pancake to the Raw Crab which Helmi couldn’t take. We (Nick and Helmi) do Food and Travel videos every week so if you are new help us by punching that like button and consider joining our weekly adventure to support us on our adventures. ► Subscribe to our Channel - https://goo.gl/bAVAKc ► Aaron & Claire\'s Channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5qRAYQmCLx8hFGIiTWSQvA Check out our other Korea Episodes 6 Cafes in Seoul to visit - https://youtu.be/_RcJVk2iKyM ---------------------------------------------------- Follow us on Social: * IG - https://www.instagram.com/nickandhelmi * FACEBOOK ►@Nick and Helmi ---------------------------------------------------- This Episode Features STREET FOOD NETFLIX in Seoul, South Korea Gwangjang Market – This is where you can find the handcut noodle Kalguksu stall and most of the other Netflix Seoul episode were shot here. Me and Helmi have visited this market in the past when it wasn’t featured on Netflix yet. Its one of the best Traditional Street Food market here in Seoul for those who wants a great introduction to local Korean food. Gohyang Kalguksu Stall – In the Netflix Seoul episode the lady Yoonsun cho was featured because of her amazing story and her Kalguksu a hand made knife cut noodles. Each of the cuts were different and in that it gives it a vibrant and different texture per bite. Some soft, chewy, dense and some can be think. We recommend getting the kalguksu and their Mandoo or Korean Dumping. Pakgane - Bindae-tteok – This is where they featured the mungbean pancake in the Netflix series, now in our honest opinion its hard to say if this is better than others as generally the process of making a Mungbean pancake are similar throughout the market and Seoul markets. Personally this wasn’t Aaron or Claire’s favourite but I can see how great this is especially the Yukhoue (Korean Raw Beef with Egg) was fabulous, it was definitely different with the Pear touches. Honglim Banchan– Where you can find the soy marinated crab from the Korean Street Food tour Netflix episode. Okay its definitely not Helmi’s favourite, for me(nick) after a few bites you get used to the overly strong aftertaste, but what probably will work for many people is definitely combining them with the rice they provide which is heavy in sesame oil and sesame seed, which gives it a rather aromatic and fragrant smell a perfect counterbalance to the raw crab. Baked Baffle - Dongdaemun Food Street – Unfortunately we couldn’t get the one from the Netflix episode as she almost closed for the day, however we tried one of her favourite which looks like a giant Takoyaki, but this was filled with cabbage, teriyaki sauce, some milk cream with a wasabi hit to it. Overall it was an amazing experience to try all the Netflix Korean street food tour. Which would you try? ---------------------------------------------------- Music Credits: Disco dan adjust to suburban life by Birocratic ---------------------------------------------------- #KoreanStreetFood #Netflix #koreanfood'
