'Quick and Easy Japanese Fried Chicken Recipe | The Best Chicken Karaage!'

'Hello there! Glad u made it here!  This is my 11th recipe video. Please bear with my shooting and editing skills.✌️  TIPS: Chicken karaage is best eaten w/ lemon wedge and japanese mayo. You may also wrap it in lettuce or pair it w/ vegetable salad. Potato starch is commonly used as a coating for deep frying in japan because it is light (it has no additional carbs) and has a longer layer of crispy coating around the chicken which makes it perfect for bento lunch box. The use of chicken thigh is highly recommended in this dish. Dark meat is more moist and flavorful. You may double dredge the chicken w/ potato starch or cornstarch if you want it extra crispy. I also recommend double frying the chicken to prolong the crispiness and to give that extra crunchy crust and moist. To save you some time on a busy day, you may pre fry the chicken and store it in the fridge and refry it the next day. What i did on this video is not deep frying. Oh boy, i ran out of oil and hey, the economy is pretty hard so am being thrifty w/ my oil usage. Lol!
