'Mela - SOIL FOOD'

'A film i made for www.melafood.com Project by Michal Evyatar & Carmel Bar in soil food project we collect soil and ingredients from a very small piece of land. In 1 Km squre we can find various plants, crop and soil. Each 1 Km is surrounded by wonderful people that works this land all year long. All those components combine the terroir, story of land, growth and culture. The project supposed to perform at the opening event of Tel Aviv Craft and design biennale 2020. This project is about celebrating the soil as the source of our essential ingredients for living. But due the covid 19 situation…wishing we will be able to continue our journey soon, visit new landscapes and new farmers all over Israel.'
