'A traditional side dish suitable for Rice or kanchi.. For written recipes visit http://malabarcookbook.wordpress.com INGREDIENTS: Unakka chemmeen : 1 handful Red chilli whole(Vattal mulaku) : 2 or 3(According to your taste) Shallots(small onion) : 4 or 5 Ginger : 1 small piece Curry leaves : few Grated coconut : 1 hand ful Green mango : As per the taste Salt Preparation: Dry roast Dried prawn(Unaka chemmeen) and red chilli. Grind shallots, ginger and red chilli first. Then grind mango pieces, chemmeen and coconut accordingly. Add salt for taste. No need to grind the coconut as a fine paste. Just crush the coconut, Other ingredients should be grind well. Check the salt and sourness, add if necessary... Try this wonderful easy recipe... Thanks and regards julie'
