BUSINESS INQUIRIES: kl@sloabn.com Houstonian Based YouTuber (#HTX) ------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Sloabie Nation!! Happy Sunday--I am currently out in West Texas camping. I uploaded this video and wrote this description before I went on the trip so if you guys want to place bets on if I saw a bear out on bear country or not; lol go for it. Now, in all seriousness--I will be out there eating my weight in apple chips. Well, actually I am eating my weight in Apple Chips even when I\'m at home soooo the environment has zero effect on how many pounds of apples I shove into my face. Anyways, I got a dehydrator a few weeks ago and I\'m on a frenzy making all sorts of chips. Apple is of course my favorite by far! While I was on Facebook Live some of ya\'ll asked me to do a tutorial and since I feel like I am an Apple chips making pro--I\'d always love to share my experience! Hope this will make you curious about Apple chips or salivate in anticipation to make your own batch!!! Excalibur Dehydrator Unboxing: https://youtu.be/cpoY2vBobuo Stuff Stuff: My old Dehydrator: http://amzn.to/2myINAl (great for those of you who wants to have dehydrated foods, but not on a weekly basis) Excalibur 2900ECB 9-Tray Economy Dehydrator: http://amzn.to/2myu4p4 Excalibur 4 Tray: http://amzn.to/2mdWLEa (To be totally honest, I would just spend a little more on the 9 tray. Once you get to dehydrating, it get’s annoying to reload or refill the trays!) Mandolin Slicer w/ 5 Diff Blades: http://amzn.to/2mOb0DK Silica Gel Packs: http://amzn.to/2mVhsJK (I got these to put in my containers/bags to keep moisture out so the food lasts longer and doesn’t get chewy on me! It really works!) Apples: Red delicious in my experience has been the cheapest. Whereas gala adds a nice tartness to the chips. I think it\'s best to do it with cheaper apples since you might get soggy or really burnt ones on first try. lol I messed up 4 apples when I first did this--soo fair warning it might be problematic Filming Stuff: Camera Canon EOS 70D: http://amzn.to/SsFOXD Lens Sigma 17-55mm f/2.8: http://amzn.to/2anp1TD Diva Ring Light: http://amzn.to/2ar9r7F Box Lights: http://amzn.to/2a0oA1J I edit with Final Cut Pro Sewing Stuff: Gingher Scissors: http://amzn.to/2ahMXH7 Fiskars Rotary Cutter: http://amzn.to/2anu7z5 Dahle Clear Cutting Matt: http://amzn.to/2a0sV50 White Gel Pen (I use it alone on dark fabric): http://amzn.to/2aexLqn Allary Chalk Set: http://amzn.to/2aigeyE Lance French Curve Ruler: http://amzn.to/2ahNjNH Design Ruler: http://amzn.to/2anv0aQ Singer 443 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine: http://amzn.to/2a5rrSz Brother 1034 D Serger: http://amzn.to/2aigcqp SAY \"HI\" TO ME HERE: F A C E B O O K: http://bit.ly/KayElleFB I N S T A G R A M: http://bit.ly/KayElleInsta T W I T T E R: http://bit.ly/tweetKay Disclaimer: I was not paid to make this video and if I was, I am always super honest about everything.
