'TeacherTink and Luna want students to tell them their opinion in this fun writing prompt asking: What\'s Your Favorite Food?  This activity includes FIRST GRADE standards but can be differentiated to meet multiple grade levels.  Activity Steps: 1) Think about the food you love most 2) Write and tell us why it is your favorite 3) Give a sense of closure Remember to share your writing with someone when you are done!   Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.1 Write opinion pieces in which they introduce the topic or name the book they are writing about, state an opinion, supply a reason for the opinion, and provide some sense of closure.  CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.2 Write informative/explanatory texts in which they name a topic, supply some facts about the topic, and provide some sense of closure.'
