'Pet food advert features canine-only soundtrack'

The design is similar to a dog whistle, which emits high-pitched sounds outside of the human hearing range. The human hearing range of frequencies is between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz, while dogs can hear between 40Hz to 60,000 Hz. Dog whistles, which emit sounds at 23,000 Hz or higher can either be used to discipline dogs or to inflict pain.'
