In this video, I\'ll be sharing my experience following the Carnivore Diet for a week. I\'ll be doing heavy bag training and a strength workout, so you can see how the diet affects my body. I hope you enjoy this video!  What is the carnivore diet? Unlike other high-protein, low-carb diets, the carnivore diet allows zero carbs. It includes “only foods that either walked, swam, or flew,”  - Most people who try the diet are motivated by a strong desire to lose weight or to address an autoimmune condition. - Alcohol, veggies, bread, or grains are NOT allowed on the diet - One of the benefits of a carnivore diet is the fullness factor of high protein consumption, so people are usually not hungry in between meals. Some people also opt to skip breakfast, though registered dietitians don’t recommend this for optimal health. - Some people say that doing this diet will help greatly with weight loss and will increase testosterone levels (but there are no professional studies to back that claim up). -Eating only meat will leave you prone to some nutrients we need such as vitamin C, E, and fiber  What other benefits would the carnivore diet give? -Mental clarity in dieting for starters. With only one food group to eat it makes meals easier to make and easier to think. You\'ll hit your protein levels and calorie deficit with ease. Like all diets it takes some getting used to with a heavy adjustment period. I\'ll be honest though, some of my workouts were the best I have had, even with bathroom problems haha.  Celebrities like the Liver King, Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, and many others have tried this diet with great success! It all comes down to your situation and personal weightlifting goals.
