'Sagana is a coined word from Filipino that stands for affluence. The company, which comprises of Medical Technology students, advocates for nutritional standards for the youth as we stand that health is indeed wealth across all ages.   Dunk the Junk, a junk food awareness advocacy with our tagline, “Don’t let FAST FOOD be your LAST FOOD!” Our GRASPS was influenced by the latest nutrition situation of the Philippines as declared by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of Department of Science and Technology (DOST). It was reported that there is a prevalence in malnutrition and chronic vitamin deficiency among infants and children. Junk food is the trend for to-go and cheap meals but cheap isn’t cut out for these young ones. High sugar, fat, sodium and MSG content in meals can influence growth and development which is crucial at this age.
