'Our Common Ground: Food Justice'

'Let’s all agree that everyone, everywhere, deserves sufficient, nutritious food. Food justice addresses barriers to making that fundamental principle a reality, as well as solutions to overcome those barriers.  And food justice was the topic of the November 10, 2021, episode of MALT’s ‘Our Common Ground’ conversation, in which MALT CEO Thane Kreiner, Ph.D., moderated a dynamic discussion among four expert panelists:  • Chandra Alexandre, CEO of Community Action Marin, Marin County’s largest nonprofit social services agency • Mark Goodman, Chairman of Colorado Nut Company and of MG Capital Holdings Inc., with executive leadership and board experience at global brands • Matte Wilson, Food Sovereignty Director at Sicangu Community Development Corp., a nonprofit organization in South Dakota working for the Sicangu Lakota Oyate • Lindsey Allen, Creative Producer and host for Point of Origin, an episodic docuseries tracing the stories behind where commonly consumed foods come from'
