'If you’ve watched Netflix Street Food Asia, the best episode in the inaugural season is definitely this Ajumma (aged woman in Korean) selling knife-cut noodles, with her story which touched many hearts. Her husband was facing problems in his business and went into debt. She had to find her way selling street food at Gwangjang Market and struggle along the way. She worked very hard to pay back her husband’s debt over the years. She is a classic example of a woman with grit. She is still working very hard now from early morning to late night every day, and you can see a smile on her face when some customers occasionally ask her to take a photo together. We tried her famed knife-cut noodles and dumplings in two flavours - pork and kimchi. Together with her grit and smile, no wonder she is the icon of Gwangjang market in Seoul. Featured dishes in the video: Kalguksu & Kimchi / Gogi Mandu Knife Cut Noodles & Kimchi / Pork Dumplings #foodexplorer #streetfood #gwangjangmarket #dumplings'
