'Did you know that a lot of foods that we love to eat are actually poisonous food for cats and dogs? They may even be deadly. So what are the most dangerous foods for dogs and what are toxic foods for cats? Your favorite snack might well be on this list of common pet poisons! If your pet eats any of these things then the best thing to do is to get vet advice straight away from your local veterinarian. Better still, avoid giving them to your pet in the first place. Find out not only what foods are the most poisonous but also how much your cat and dog need to eat, how much is poisonous and what are the signs of poisoning to look out for with these common pet poisons. Also should you try and make your pet vomit at home if you think they have eaten something. This may not always be a good idea 1 - Chocolate - which is worse? milk chocolate or dark chocolate? 2 - Grapes and Raisins - are they really poisonous, why and how much 3 - Onions, garlic, leeks + chives - a lot may need to be eaten but not just in 1 sitting. Poisoning builds up over time 4 - Xylitol - probably the most deadly on this list and found EVERYWHERE! 5 - Maccadamia Nuts - are they really that bad? 6 - Bread dough - swelling and alcohol, a dagerous combination 7 - Moldy Food - our pets can\'t eat any old rubbish 8 - Corn cobs - not poisonous bu definitely deadly 9 - Bones - cooked bones and large bones are definitely dangerous foods 10 - Coffee grounds - caffeine can be deadly and it might not take as much as you think Bonus 11 - ????
