The Australian Native food forest is about to be planted. I want to celebrate and showcase the Australian bush foods that grow native around parts of NSW and some from other parts of Australia. It doesn\'t look like much yet, but over the next few weeks see how the forest will change from native forest trees to incredible edible varieties. Bush foods are the ultimate super food so lets learn about them together. Today I am preparing the food forest and mapping it out. I hope this next series serves as a Guide for anyone thinking of growing native Australian edible plants in a food forest or in their garden. Think of it as a temperate food forests for beginners. A helpful cheat sheet for starting a permaculture food forest with Australian natives. For those that are new we\'re homesteading in Australia and have been homesteading here for a year. This is only our temporary homestead, so we hope to take you along on our journey of learning trialing and growing a homestead.
