'BAKAS is a maranao word which means \"Smoked Tuna Fish\". It\'s popular in my hometown, Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur.   PALAPA is a staple food or condiment for us Maranaos. It\'s a mixture of spices. To make an authentic palapa, you need \"SAKURAB\" which can be found in marawi city or its neighboring cities. If you don\'t have that, you can use red onion or spring onion. Using a food processor or blender or mortar and pestle, mix the onion, ginger and lots of chili.  Warning: Palapa is really really spicy!   DON\'T FORGET TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE for more videos.
