'This is a time lapse video of me assembling my Aeromatico liquid composter DIY kit. After I built the composter I added 50 gallons of water to the barrel and started adding my kitchen waste slowly at first. Now I add food waste everyday including vegetable peels, coffee grinds and filters, tea bags, egg shells, all seeds big and small including avocado seeds, grains, beans, etc. It can handle about 2 liters of food scraps per day. If I add any more than that, it will start to smell bad. When that happens, I just stop adding food for a day or 2 until the smell goes away. The air pump supplies 60 liters per minute to the bottom of the barrel which constantly aerates and mixes the compost liquid. I live in Houston, TX and run mine in my garage year round. When I want to water my plants, I just fill my watering can directly from the composter\'s spigot. There is a filter inside the barrel that only allows fully composted liquid though the spigot. I use the liquid compost as a soil drench for all of my potted plants as well as my garden beds and plants in my yard. The liquid compost regenerates soils by inoculating the soil with billions of microbes. The microbes increase biodiversity creating living soil with a thriving soil food web. I sent a sample to Motzz Labs for testing, and they found that 2.5% of the liquid was made of humic acids and 1% was made of fulvic acids which are like super foods for plants. My channel has a bunch of videos of the microbes found in the compost liquid including bacterial feeding nematodes, aerobic bacterial, flagelates, ciliates, and rotifers. Please contact me if you have any questions about this DIY project. I would be happy to help you build your own. You are welcome to download the detailed assembly instructions from the AeromatiCo website (for free).'
