'Soil food web, plant succession, microbial community in soil, soil microorganisms and succession, nitrates and ammonium This video is another foundational presentation about the soil microorganisms and succession, the relative nitrate and ammonium levels available to plants based on the proportion of bacteria and fungi in soil samples Understanding this information empowers us with the information to address problems such as weeds overtaking our garden beds, lack of hardiness on plants due to the relative proportion of microorganisms in the soil. The graphic that I use in this video I pulled from the web possibly years ago and can no longer locate and am therefore unable to cite the source appropriately. This image was like a light bulb shining light on the relative proportions of microorganisms as they relate to the succession of plants. More importantly this really made me realize that it was a tool that I could use to address soil problems on my site. Please if anyone knows of the source for this image I would like to acknowledge the source properly. Thanks for watching, Feel free to comment and ask questions and please share the video with your friends and colleagues.
