'Feeling Passionate About Soil Life and Regenerative Agriculture! Healing the Earth and Reforestation'

'I am feeling very passionate about soil life and regenerative agriculture right now. I just watched an AMAZING documentary called Kiss the Ground. My kids watched some of it with me and it was their first exposure to glyphosate and the impact of dead soil. They were exposed to the importance of healing the earth and reforestation. Nature\'s natural tendency is to grow forests! Through a process called succession, mother nature will start amending the soil with \"weeds\" or as I like to say, opportunistic plants. These plants thrive in full sun and create a microclimate more suitable for those other plants that need partial shade or full shade early on in their life. This isn\'t a video about the details of succession, so I digress. Plants are just so awesome!  During the video, I became very emotional about the state of the earth and I felt very hopeful about the ability for the earth to make a drastic shift towards health and biodiversity. I amazed to learn that many farmers that grow monocultured crops such as corn, soy, and wheat, don\'t fully understand soil science. I felt an immense urge and desire to help farmers transition from monoculture crops to biodiverse crops and regenerative agriculture. It seems to me that education is one of the key aspects of this transition. Education and mindset of course.  During one of my leaky eye moments, my daughter asked me why I was crying and I told her that I didn\'t know. She asked me if they were happy tears, and I at least knew that much. I didn\'t know exactly why, but there was a strong positive flow of emotion.  I made this video because I wanted to share my excitement with you and I also want to connect with more individuals who have a similar vision. I feel very drawn towards regenerating sick and dead soil back to life, but I know we are stronger together!
