'Webfoot Octopus / Fine Dust Problem / Savoring Food Models with the Eyes   Spring Delicacy, Webfoot Octopus    With the bitter cold giving way to the warmth of the spring season, people are heading out the door for a pleasant outing nearby or check out the springtime festivals happening all over the country. The Camellia and Webfoot Octopus Festival is currently being held in Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do Province, where camellias are blooming, and it will run until the end of this month. This is a sign that the webfoot octopus, well-known for its tastiness and health benefits, is in season. The beautiful county situated on the western coast is currently attracting visitors by offering fun and exhilarating activities and fresh webfoot octopuses at the festival. We take you there this week to join in on the fun!   Tackling the Fine Dust Problem   The gray, hazy sky caused by the presence of fine dust in the air is a troubling sight. One of the biggest interests of the people of Korea these days would arguably have to be \"fine dust,\" also known as particulate matter, as it has detrimental impacts on health. In response, Seoul Metropolitan Government has set up an air quality analysis center to conduct related research, monitor fine dust concentrations in real time, and provide important information to citizens. There are even education programs to help people better understand fine dust and its impacts and learn how to better cope with the current air quality problem. An innovative system has been installed inside bus shelters to provide people with a shelter away from the hazardous substances while waiting for the bus. We take you to the scenes where efforts are being made to tackle the fine dust problem.   Savoring Food Models with the Eyes   There are many restaurants that present what they offer on the menu using visually appetizing food models. They look just like the actual dishes that get served in terms of color, shape and size. There is someone who has perfected his skills in food model crafting, with the ability to make fake foods inspired by diverse cuisines from Korean to Chinese and Western food. He can even make lifelike replicas of fish which need to be painted with at least 8 different colors for a realistic look and of burgers that are made with plastic buns, patties and lettuce.
