'Ingredients: Sweet & Sour Chicken: - Chicken 1/2 kg boneless (in cube) - Bell pepper (Red/Yellow/Orange/Green) 200 gm - Corn flour (2 tablespoon for sauce) & (1 tablespoon for chicken) - Soya sauce (2 tablespoon or as per taste) - Chili sauce (2 tablespoon or as per taste) - Vinegar (around 2 tablespoon) - Egg 1 pc - Green chili (4-5 or as per taste) - Chinese salt (as per taste) - White pepper (as per taste) - Chili flakes (as per taste) (in case requirement of spicy chicken) - Red chili powder (as per taste) (in case requirement of spicy chicken) - Cooking Oil - Chicken stock (500 ml) Vegetable Rice: - Mix vegetable (selection as per your taste) (fine shopped) (Carrot, Beans, Corn and Peas) - Rice (High quality basmati rice) 300 gm - Egg 1 pc - Soya sauce (2 tablespoon or as per taste) - Chili sauce (2 tablespoon or as per taste) - Vinegar (around 2 tablespoon) - Green onion (fine shopped) (2 pcs) - Chinese Salt (as per taste) - Cooking Oil Serving: For 2 person Method: Sweet & Sour Chicken: Wash your chicken properly and add one egg, corn flour, Chinese salt, Chili flakes, Chili powder and white pepper. Mix all the ingredients and keep a side at least 20 minutes. Heat the oil on low flame and fry the marinated chicken until it turns brown and crispy. Take a saucepan and 1 table spoon of oil and fry the green onion except leaves and add all the fine chopped bell peppers into it just for saute. Once it done, add the chicken stock and vinegar, soya and chili sauce into it. Keep stirring the sauce for at least 20 minutes on medium low flame until bubble comes up. Add the fried chicken into it and mix the corn flour into 3 table spoon of water and pour into the cooking sauce. Add the fine chopped green onions into it and cook until the sauce become little thick. Vegetable Rice: Take big saucepan add 3 table spoon of cooking oil and fry fine chopped onion and fried egg. Add the Chinese salt and fine chopped bell peppers into it including with soya,chili (if required) sauce and vinegar. Saute all the ingredients for at least 5-10 minutes. Add boiled rice and green onion leaves into the sauce pan and keep stirring gently. Finally, turn the lid on over the sauce pan and steam it for further 5 minutes. Serve your delicious Sweet and Sour chicken with vegetable rice for your meal.
