'After the city lockdown, Donum Dei is back to business. I was told that Donum Dei means God\'s Gift. They offer Filipino buffet and ala carte meals. Their place will give you a different buffet experience because of its fine dining theme with rustic european decors. See for yourself! The food they serve is pure Filipino and I got to try pansit, sweet and sour chicken, kare-kare, crispy fried chicken, and spicy jackfruit stew. Their menu just took me back to my memories of home cooked meals. Each dish was well-seasoned, tender to the bite, and very tasty. Their appetizers were fresh guso salad and raddish with fried dilis. The taste of every dish is perfect for the Filipino palate. For their dessert, their maja blanca was a winner! Not too sweet. And their sweetened plantain was cooked with coconut milk. That was a surprise for me. I have never tried that before. Once again, I got my tummy filled with delicious meal. If you want an affordable Filipino buffet, try Donum Dei.
