'Today we make apple chips in our food dehydrator. The process of dehydrating apple slices in the food dehydrator is a fairly simple process. The whole process takes about 30 minutes of prep time and about 15 hours, plus or minus depending on how crunchy you like your apple chips to be. I keep it simple in this video by doing apple slices that are not dipped or sprinkled with anything. Other common variations include sprinkling brown sugar or cinnamon or dipping the apple slices in lemon juice to keep them from browning so much.
