'Financing small food producers and farmers'

'The local municipal Fund for the development of agricultural production is already showing significant results.  4.000.000 dinars were invested in 2020 for placement to producers in the Municipality of Čajetina who do not have access to bank loans. 19 small agricultural producers received interest-free financing, which they will return in the next 3 years for investment in mechanization, anti-hail nets, livestock and equipment.  The model is easily adopted and will be transferred to other municipalities throughout Serbia, localizing solutions for financing micro farmers and agricultural development.  This innovative fund was founded by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation and the Municipality of Čajetina with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Project.'
