'Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Cuisinart 9 cup food processor. Link to Cuisinart 9 cup food processor: http://amzn.to/2sUiPIv It comes with a work bowl that is virtually shatterproof, housing base with a shaft and touchpad control panel. Link to Cuisinart 9 cup food processor: http://amzn.to/2sUiPIv Cord storage in the base. Suction cup feet so the base won’t move around on your counter. It’s heavy, sturdy and I usually take that to be a sign of a well made appliance. The cover has a wide mouth feed tube which is great for slicing whole fruits and vegetables. The pusher assembly slides inside the feed tube. There’s a small removable pusher inside. This is useful for carrots and adding liquid while making a dressing. There are two blades - one for chopping and mixing and the other for making dough when using more than 3.5 cups of flour. If you’re making dough with less than 3.5 cups of flour, use the chopping blade. There are two discs - one for slicing and one for shredding. Detachable stem for the discs and a plastic spatula. All the plastic is BPA free. Let’s assemble the food processor. Place the work bowl on top. The handle should be just left of center. Turn clockwise and it will lock into the base. Put the blade on the shaft, it should fit nicely on the bottom of the bowl. Put the cover on the bowl with the handle are to the left of center and turn counterclockwise to lock. Put the pusher assembly in the cover and it’s ready to use. First, I’ll chop an onion to show you how the chopping blade works. Pulse a few times. Scrape down between pulses. The onion is minced evenly. Next we’ll slice apples using the slicing disc. Place the disc on a flat surface and attach the disc stem by turning it to the right and you’ll hear a click to lock. Place it over the center of the bowl and it should be an easy fit. Put the cover on and the pusher assembly. The apple is sliced evenly in about five seconds. We’ll shred carrots using the shredding disc. It only takes a few seconds for evenly shredded carrots. A few pieces were left on the disc. Next I’ll make a white bean dip. First, put in a clove of garlic, then add drained white beans and lemon juice. Pulse a few times and process. Add some olive oil through the feed tube. The dip is perfectly smooth and creamy. This is a really healthy dip to serve with baked chips or crackers. Let’s make some pie dough with the dough blade. I’m using 3 cups flour and 4 cups is the maximum amount of flour that you can put in this work bowl. Add salt and butter cut into cubes. Pulse a few times and add cold water until the dough is formed. The dough is done really quickly. Divide it and flatten into a disc. The dough freezes well so it’s ready whenever you want to make a pie. The Cuisinart 9 cup food processor is versatile. It chopped, sliced and shredded quickly and evenly. Pie dough was made efficiently. It’s a well built machine that is extremely useful in the kitchen. I hope this review was helpful. Please subscribe and thanks for watching!'
