'MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Attention all foodies: The Food Network\'s hit show \"The Great Food Truck Race\" is now shooting in Mobile and the crew will be here all weekend. It\'ll be great national exposure for Mobile. So how can you get in on the deliciousness? Well, on Saturday, all the action will be downtown on Dauphin Street. For a chance to be on TV, all you have to do is show up and eat the food. The \"Great Food Truck Race\" is filming it\'s fifth season. If you aren\'t familiar with the show, it begins in Los Angeles with eight teams, that roll into a new city each week, cooking and selling food out of food trucks. \"Each week we lose one team and they get eliminated,\" said co-executive producer Francesco Pace. Local 15 met up with his crew on Friday at Battleship Memorial Park where they were supposed to film the episode\'s open. \"We didn\'t really know until we got here that Mobile is like Seattle. That it rains more here than in Seattle, so we\'re trying to work around the weather,\" said Pace. But Lance, Andrea, and Rachel certainly aren\'t letting a little rain dampen their spirits. The Texas trio is one of three teams left in the competition. \"We\'re the \"Lone Star Chuck Wagon\" and we\'re slingin\' Tex-Mex, BBQ and good Texas cuisine,\" said Lance. \"All three of us have worked together for the last four years in the same restaurant and we are ready to branch out on our own,\" said Andrea. Beginning at noon on Saturday you can find the \"Lone Star Chuck Wagon\" outside Hayley\'s bar. \"Let There Be Bacon\" will be set up in front of Loda Bier Garten. And the \"Middle Feast Food Truck\" will park at Brickyard on Dauphin Street. \"Rain or shine I\'m hoping everyone in Mobile and surrounding cities can come out and check out our trucks,\" said Pace. Whichever team sells the least will be eliminated and won\'t move on to the next city. The winner of the competition gets $50,000 and their food truck. \"What would that mean for you guys?\" asked reporter Christian Jennings. \"Freedom! Ha ha, from working for the man and being able to do our own thing and get our business rolling. It would be awesome,\" answered Rachel. The trucks will sell food in Mobile on Saturday and Sunday. Some of the teams are changing locations Sunday, so check their individual Facebook pages for the latest information. You can also follow the teams on twitter. Season Five will air sometime in August.
