'Karaage is yummy Japanese fried chicken marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and garlic then coated in starch and fried super crispy! It\'s super easy and kids must love it! Ingredients 750 gr sklinless chicken thigh fillets (about 5 thighs), cut into 5 cm pieces 3 TBSP soy sauce 2 TBSP oyster sauce 5 cloves garlic, crushed 1.5 tsp ginger powder ½ tsp coarsely crushed black pepper ¼ tsp white pepper ¾ cup potato starch or corn starch for coating Method 1. Combine the chicken and all the seasonings in the bowl 2. Rest in fridge for at least 2 hours 3. Then coat the chicken with the starch 4. Heat enough oil to deep-fry the chicken pieces, a few at a time. Fry until golden brown. 5. Drain well on a wiring rack or paper towel. Repeat until all pieces has been used up. 6.
